HOW DOES OFANYM WORK?

Buyers

  1. Create a contract. Describe the footage you want and draw your area of interest on the map. Name your price and set a password.

  2.  Deploy the contract, funding it.

  3. When a footage proposal comes in, approve it to release the funds in the contract to the seller.

Sellers

  1. Find a contract in your area.

  2. ​Propose footage to the buyer.

  3. Collect the funds in the contract once the buyer accepts.

A Chrome browser with a Metamask wallet installed. That's it.

WHAT DO I NEED TO USE OFANYM?

HOW DO YOU PROTECT MY PRIVACY?

Your identity is your Ethereum wallet address. We do not ask for any personally identifying information. 

CAN I BE IDENTIFIED FROM VIDEO FOOTAGE I UPLOAD?

Video footage a seller uploads is encrypted with the buyer's PGP public key using AES-256-GCM encryption, a quantum resistant standard approved by the NSA for encrypting top secret information. It is only decrypted when downloaded to the buyer's machine. Nobody but the buyer can view the unencrypted video.

WHAT IF THERE'S A DISPUTE BETWEEN THE BUYER AND SELLER?

Every contract holds its Ethereum reward in escrow. For the money to move to a seller or buyer, they both have to agree. In the case of a dispute, Ofanym arbitrates and either releases the money to the seller or returns it to the buyer. 

HOW DO I KNOW THAT OFANYM IS TRUSTWORTHY?

Our contract factory is deployed on Ethereum at 0x85cD9D70166a4FCaccb971B6c9F1CbbDF9f71657. Please take a look at the source code, for instance, via the Remix IDE.
